His tragic character is heartbreaking to watch. Much like Adrianna's death in the Sopranos, his character's death in this series about ripped my heart out and stomped all over it. I can't help it, I fell in love with Jimmy.💔🎉

Man when they killed jimmy I wanted to jump on the screen and shot Nucky but then my boy harrow took vengeance and jimmy son took on nucky I felt like a weight came of my chest my favorite character in the series !!

This makes me cry every time I watch it.

Best part of this show was they gave the audience a glimpse into the legends who didn’t grow old enough to have their stories told. Jimmy was a great character and perfect example of that. Sometimes, the ones who go down in history are the last ones left, not the greatest of their era. Survivors.

Jimmy’s existence was created from tragedy it was only fitting that he became what he became regardless to how many opportunities he was afforded. His mother’s sexual attraction to him was monstrous and controlling to say the least. And…the fact that he knew that he was going to die that night but didn’t want to involve Richard is epic. He was a solid soldier til the end!

Whenever I watch and rewatch boardwalk empire, the naive part of me wants Jimmy and Nucky to work together again, but then deep down I realise that this can never be!. Such a great character, his relationship with al Capone being the best.
